The holiday is at your doorstep, and your phone goes everywhere you go. Now you can easily access the Internet in Europe all day, but it's handy to download some essential apps beforehand, so you have everything you need during your holiday. Below are the ten best free apps for the holidays!

You can also order an UBER scooter in many cities, and in Asia, you will find similar services under the name GrabTaxi and Go-Jek.

iTunes Podcast Ranking System Easily Manipulated

If you have been using the iTunes podcast list as a way of ranking which podcast are the most popular, then you have been misled. While prepping a segment for command (Amber Mac's and my Vidcast), I had to click on the subscribe button of our podcast sometimes. I noticed that shortly after I had done, so our rank on the iTunes Canada music store had gone up.

That got me thinking. I had Frank from Techphile.ca test out my theory. Sure enough, he reported the same results. Amber and I also subscribed sometimes, which quickly moved to command up in the ranks on the iTunes Canada store.

It looks like iTunes doesn't record how many people are subscribed to a podcast but rather how many times the button is pressed.

This makes the iTunes ranking as irrelevant as a list because just about anyone can change the results in iTunes by just clicking on the subscribe button 20 or 50 or 100 times.

This was tested in the iTunes Canada store but conceivably should work in all of the iTunes stores.

Finding cool WebPages on the web is often like looking My Furl Feed Thumbnail for a needle in a haystack(well not really). Some day’s I come across 10 and some I find none. But a neat way to keep track and share with others is using a service call furl.net

Amber initially turned me on to furl a few months ago, and I have been using it as a way to get access to my bookmarked web pages no matter what machine I am on. I have been known to use up to 8 different devices in a single day so it would be impossible for me to move my bookmarks from one computer to another to another to another to….. You get the idea.
